Data Driven approach

A "data-driven" approach enables strategic decisions based on data analysis and interpretation.

But how to think of a data driven architecture?

The data-driven approach is not an exotic concept, it is a real opportunity to reach new levels of service, even if it is not clear how to exploit it. Developing a data driven solution needs a right architecture. The architecture must be designed considering the scenarios related to the concept of digital product (eg: virtual commissioning), digital production (smart manufacturing) and intelligent factory management. Data driven architecture can be thought of as a tetrahedron, where each face represents a digital concept, while the edges represent deliverable digital services. In the attached video a simple definition and relative representation regarding tetrahedral representation.
